I'm in the UK for a course next week. As always I like to get my money's worth from the flights. This trip I've been very indecisive, going from a road trip in the U.K. To a dive trip in Italy and then a trip to Vegas for DEMA.
As the agent never got back to me (cheers Natalie at Hays) and being busy with storm stuff I was as a bit of loose end with an open flight and nothing to do. So I messaged a few people on Saturday night and invited myself on a trip to Scapa flow.
What better time to dive the WW1 wrecks of the German fleet than on the centenary of the end of the First World War!
There may be another space on the trip if anyone fancies meeting me in Manchester Friday morning.
I'll try to keep a daily blog whilst I'm there, as I know a few people are keen to see how it is and whether it's worth going next year.
The website below has info on the wrecks, though I've not had a chance to look yet myself!
Hopefully the weather sorts itself out while I'm away.
